Great Grey Owl

Of course the time that you see a Great Grey Owl while you're out is the time that the longest lens you have with you is a 90mm. Luckily I was able to sneak up on this guy without him flying off. He actually seemed quite nonchalant.

We passed a hawk on a post shortly before seeing the owl, I'm not sure he would have let me get so close though =) It was nice to see a Grey owl, Horned owls are much more common.
