I think the triangle created by the three pillars creates a very good composition. I like the shutter speed you have chosen that creates the swirl (?) in the water. I think the sun top left balances the heaviest pillar bottom right perfectly.
I think the cropping is perfect, and the light on the horisontal wood is sthe cherry on the cake.
I do not think this needs any improvement but an alternative could be to try and get some more drama in the skies top right.

I'm not sure I can really describe why but it certainly has a lot more about it than the typical posts-in-the-sea-at-sunset shot. I'm pretty sure it's something about comp rather than light for me but it's too much in my subconscious to articulate I'm afraid Smile
