230 wing beats per second

By martin174
Many thanks to pamelajean for the ua on my previous upload and to all others for the comments and votes and views.

Pollinator in flight, just taking off from a lavender plant.
Entamologists and people who study insects etc reckon a bees wing beats reach 230 beats per second in about a 90 degree arc.
Got to have pretty good eyesight to count themGrin

Have a great Sunday everyone and keep safe.
