The unseen so appeals to me. The average person doesn't seem to see the forgotten heritage and sights of time gone by in there original state which is why I try to locate and photograph these places before they are bulldozed to make way for the next supermarket.

Have a fetish for old asylums, hospitals, manor houses and chateaus from across the continent.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the unseen!

Quote:Great location and it certainly looks the part for a sci-fi film.
i wouldn't have thought light painting just looking at this, so you did very well there.

Quote:Beautiful! If this is not a trade secret, do you mind saying a few words about processing? What especially interests me is how that very subtle "painted" effect was achieved. The image is incredibly sharp and realistic, yet there is this surreal feel to it, some very fine texture (almost like patina on metal). What software and filters (if any) did you use?

Very basic really. Start with camera RAW applying tweaks then straight into photomatix with my various basic presets then imported to CC and tweaked more with Nik software plugins.

Quote:I agree, the HDR really suits this image, emphasising the opulence. Would love to know how you got access to such a fascinating building - or shouldn't I ask?WinkGrin
