I can see what you are going for - but for me there is too much foreground with just grass. There is a slight blurry patch just off to the right from centre and I am not really drawn into the image towards a focal point. Sorry to sound a bit harsh - these are just my opinions of course. I would have liked to have seen you stand up a bit further and move to yoru left. So you would get less of the grass and a bit more of the stone cross. Love the dramatic sky just a wee bit of a purple cast. Definatly worth a re-visit. Good stuff.

    Hi Catherine
    Thank you for your comments.
Yes I was giving HDR a go and concentrating to much on texture and not composition. The building is too donimant, I agree, I do like to be led into and around a picture.
I will have another go on a different subject.
    Thank you
    Regards

    Wow great colours and textures.
I really must try more HDR work, all mine appear to be a bit flat.
    Good work

  • The Kids

    Hi Berit
I love the tonal range and tone for this image and the high crop gives more a sense of children being small.
I think it works very well

    Hi Tony 147.
There was a 23 knot head wind at the top of that 35foot platform, we were so surprised that he didnt just get splatted against the pier.
