Gnarled Yew

By martinjp
A capture of a gnarled old yew in Warburton old church, near Lymm...it's thought to date back to the 16th century.

Makes a great abstract.
Wonder what a cross section of that bark would look like?
Great to think something can survive so long.

To me it looks like the face of a dragoon. Well seen, and so well captured.
