The Hope Valley

By martinl
I know this will bomb because it is a long thin pan, and the thumbnails just do not attract the attention, but I don't really care, coz I like it!

A stitch of 8, 70mm portrait shots, showing the view down the Hope Valley and all the swirling mists. A super sight in the flesh which, unfortunately, a photo cannot do justice to.

Perhaps the large version would be worth a peek.

Have a good weekend everyone.

I like it too Martin! Well presented too.
If it had been slightly less thin, you might have seen me up on Mam Tor. Ah, hence the tight crop. Wink

Theres nothing wrong with long and thin Martin. Wink It's a fine piece of work and tbh I just think pans don't do too well on screen period. A lot to take in here but you did the place justice. I like it.

Thanks you two, and I would agree for the most part Simon. I think they would have to be exceptional to get any real recognition on EPZ as a rule, becuase they just don't come across well.
As I said, I'm quite happy with it though.

its hard to look at this scale, but having been there i can appreciate how magical it was, assuming they are stitched together, its a good job well done.
