Beautiful - this was all re-layed about two years ago - you have caught a very special moment with the sun just perfectly catching both the causway and St M's M - Lord levant woudl be proud to have this hanging in his drawing room I am sure.

Martin, I've enjoyed all of your uploads this week but I've decided this one gets a GEA for a really wonderful composition using the causeway to lead the eye, the gorgeous warm light with the touch of colour catching the clouds and the superb fg detail Smile

This has to be one of the best I've ever seen from this location, Martin. It is just out of this world. I can barely begin to imagine how excited you must have felt when that light finally emerged.

What a shame you didn't have this to hand when they were asking for entries to this year's Landscape Photographer of the Year. Well, there's always next year. Smile

No, not for LPOTY (not entered this year), but I certainly smiled when the sun finally came all the way across to the mount.
