Patience Pays

By martinl
Saturday morning up on Mam Tor and I was intending to meet Andrew Yu, but unfortunately Andy couldn't make it. (sorry you couldn't make it Andy, this is what you missed!)

Left home in what looked like perfect conditions. When I got there, the cloud had marched across the sky and obscured the sunrise (apart from a slight sliver but there was no strength in the sun)

Looked a complete blanket of grey was all I was going to get, and almost called it a day. Damned glad I stayed though, as the sun eventually broke through the clouds, and I was treated to the most fabulous light and sky.

Popping up to the Peak District in May. If they're half as good as this I'll be happy. Another cracker Martin.
