These are 2 great photographs. To which one is better? It is VERY difficult to decide, but if pressed, I might pick #2. Tomorrow I might pick #1. It's a close call. Very well photographed!

I wasn't sure what you meant by "rotated" until I saw the "levelled' out mod. Unless something funky happened with my tripod level, it was level. (If you believe in such things), some "haunted" places have been "known" to play tricks on equipment at times. So it could have been the ghosts, playing with my level.

Other than a few notable exceptions, Saskatchewan and Alberta are the only reasons why the Conservatives hold the official opposition title. If they/we (I'm in Regina Saskatchewan) voted like normal Canadians, the Cons wouldn't have many seats, reminiscent of Longchin's PC's when leaving Kim Campbell to take the fall. My riding is remaining under the uselessness of Andrew Sheep.

Politics aside, thanks for the mod and vote. I hope Jr. will be even half the PM his father was.

    Quote:A nice looking place.

It needs to be rotated to get the lake level, done in the mod.

That smell might be the conservatives!

I'll upload the monochrome version in a few hours. I like the monochrome one better.

    Thank you Tony.

Regarding the "crop" though, it's not. It was shot with a cropped sensor body is all. I zoomed in to 116mm with my 55-300mm lens. No post processed crop involved.

Quote:Gotta give you points for fine crop and composition but the expression with a touch of playfulness makes this image. TG

It also shows how much the lawn needs mowing. Blush

Quote:It's funny how they think that if they make themselves really small, you will not see them - cute, very typical pose shot Smile

Thanks Willie. It took me almost 2 hours of fiddling in Photoshop to get it almost just right. I noticed it's not skyline straight, and the right isn't perfectly vertical. I overcorrected somewhat. It won't win any competitions, but I am satisfied with it.

Quote:Good job on getting the lens distortion sorted out.
