Front Yard Rabbit

By Marty_Woodcock
The sun was low in the evening sky as the children were doing their pre-bedtime routines and my wife and I were tidying up. My wife glanced out the window and saw this rabbit on the front lawn, and I grabbed my camera and quietly crept onto the lawn, belly down. I snapped four photographs before the rabbit took off. I suffered many mosquito bites to get these images. Each bite was worth it, I think. One-by-one, I will upload the other three when allowed. This one was the last I took. I am open to any constructive critiques and any other comments.

Its very good Marty. Might be a hare looking at the size?

I loaded a mod, - reduced saturation a bit and sharpened the face.

regards

Sweet bunny (hare) in great setting Smile

Mary
Willie, Thanks for the modification. After looking at it with fresh eyes (your mod and my jpg), my jpg isn't overly saturated, but I did add a way too much "warmth"/yellowing in post. I was trying to make it look like the sun was beginning to set (which it was). I should have toned down the yellow.

Cheers,
Marty.

That lighting in the eye is rare and can not be better. Lighting through the ear is fine as well. Colours are fine and well saturated.
When wild hare shots turn out like this we call it a super WIN! TG
