wow that must have been a low sun. would work without the person in the bg, but this gives it a very strange, irresistable sense of perspective

Thanks all for your comments. Koen, I was tempted to clone out the b/g figure as you suggest but decided they added scale to the shadow as a whole.

Great b+w image,like the way you used the tree to hide your shadow,concentrating the attention on the tree and the two peoples shadows,good work.

Nice perspective and great use of the figure in the distance for scale. I do find myself wonderign what's just out of the shot though, i think that's becasue the shadow of the tree and the figure are very close to the edge.
