Do you think the cobbles and cracks in the foreground distract from the main composition? Any other comments appreciated.

I'd be inclined to crop up to remove the cobbles. Might go well in bw too.

works really well. i love the corner of cobblestone in it. kind of punctuates it for me.

I would crop off the bikes from the left and the cobbles from the bottom. This would leave a clean and simpler image. The flare suits the image. Well captured.

Thanks all for your suggestions. I've now experimented with tighter crops and find that about 2cm off the bottom and 1cm off the right suits my eye. Tried BW but I quite like the reds in the colour version.
