Park Light

By martynj
Shadows in a snowy central park.

Do you find the lens flare at the top distracting? Worth trying to correct with PS?

Thanks for your comments.

Hi Martyn, I love this shot, the tree shadow on the snow really makes it. The flare is a little distracting but its such a good shot that I think you could rescue that bit.

Great shot M - suprised I haven't seen this before. Flare is not distracting, but I would try removing anyway (just to see what it is like). Very Nice

Seeing in B&W for some people is a difficult job. Not for you, this is ace.

I do like the composition and the way you've caught the lines of trees disappearing into the woods, following the line of that shadow in the front. Takes the eye round very nicely!

But for me the flare was the first thing to catch my eye I'm afraid. I was looking for some detail and since there's not so much in the snow you look upwards .... Maybe think about giving the shadows in the foreground a touch more contrast and minimise the flare?
