Autumn trees

By MarvKoon
Taken from my last week end away in Peak district. Any comments on colour balance/ aperture settings? I was trying to get a good sense of perspective and at the same time show the autumn colours. Thanks!

It's a lovely tree-lined path with nice dappled light falling across it and you have composed it well, Marvin, achieving your goal of good perspective, but I have to agree with Frank, the featureless sky at the end of the path is the area which the eye is inevitably drawn to, and it is disappointing. I would have reduced the ISO setting and used some negative exposure compensation. I also feel that there are too many people on the path. One or two are aesthetically pleasing, somehow indicating a leisurely stroll, giving an atmosphere of tranquility, but this many tends to distract from the rest of the scene. I might have waited until the group dispersed a little. The leaning tree on the left of the frame, being only a part of the tree, is an intrusion, and I notice that Frank has cropped it out.
