Hello ladies

By MarvKoon
It was my first day in Rajasthan, arriving by train. I was nervous about taking photos of these women but thankfully they noticed me and smiled. I wish I had a zoom lens...!

A well-caught moment, although the fac tthat they're interacting with you takes away the documentary feel of it...if that's what you wanted. I do think like in some of your other shots the saturation and contrast are a bit harsh. I know the light conditions wereobviuosly contrasty, but you might try to decrease the contrast and saturation by just a few degrees

Justmy honest thoughts, hope they're some use

Nice one - a pleasant scene. The only problem is contrast due to excessiive light. Difficult to deal with in situ without balancing flash or exposing for highlights and correcting later.

Haha, thanks for the tips. I may decrease the saturation a bit, but really the colours in this part of the world are very strong!
Ps. This is not my country, although I have been to India a few times and like taking pictures there. I'm from Mauritius- one of the shots in my portfolio was taken from there.
