    Lots of fine detail in his plumage, so difficult with the dark feathers in that light and love the contrasting tones of the beak and eye detail. Nice to see some warm sunshine, must all be down your way.

    You have done very well in your quest for shadows with this one. I like the fact that the shadows are so well defined yet have that softness that shadows should have, also perfectly composed with that brushin a spot for my eye to rest before moving on round the image. Love this one. looking forward to seeing more of your shadow images as I have ben building a folder of shadow s over the past two years, none as good as this. GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
