In memory of my Darling Husband Alan , my Best Friend who died 30th August. I miss him and loved him beyond words but he is now at peace fighting this terrible Cancer. This Rose, which I took this morning, this is the first image I have taken since his diagnosis in January. He wished me to continue photographing my ' beloved ' flowers. How could I not grant him one of his dying wishes.

I'm very sorry to hear the battle has been fought for so long and lost at last.
Your archive will be so important now - a treasure house of memories.
Yes, you must honour his wishes and produce more of your lovely images like this which jumps from my screen.

A lovely tribute. My wife died of cancer four years ago. My rose photography is for her as they where her favourite flower.
