This is an exceptional shot, the lighting across the image is stunning, the lead in of the powerfull rocks thro the etherial waters is superb and without distractions, allowing the eye to traverse upwards to the horizon where it finds the interesting landmass and the wonderful glow on the water.

You certainly got a nice composition from where you stood. I took a few shots from there while you were walking along the beach, but from lower down. Your tall tripod position works better. I'm not sure about the sepia colour cast though. Is this a product of the polariser/grad you used? The long exposure gives a very smooth water surface and blurs the underwater rocks nicely, however.

Hi Mike,

Not sure if my ND filter would have caused the colour cast or just my PP work, but I left it cos I quite liked it...Smile Maybe I will have a play and see if I can back it off a bit.
