Pointing at the Pier

By MattB1987
A quick morning trip to Cromer on Wednesday morning to try and get a few pictures. I wanted to get some different angles to Cromer that I hadn't captured before. This is my first offering, I have done a mono and a colour version but I feel personally I prefer the mono, but I will upload the colour version for you all to see and decide too.

I struggled majorly with the lines on the pier, the distortion on the lens has played havoc and I had a hard time trying to may them good.

Well thank you for looking, I hope you enjoy and all comments and critiques are very welcome and appreciated.

I really like the composition of this Matt.
Mono works for me.

I do feel the distortion is a little distracting. Which is easily sorted by pulling out the L & R bottom corners.

Good comp. and the mono suits the shot, but I definitely agree about the correction to the perspective Matt

Hi Matt
You could tackle the distortion on the pier with 'PTlens' - a $25 download from memory.
Try the 'vertical perspective adjustment.
It will also auto-correct any barrel/pincushion distortion.
