Please stop putting frogs on fungi, which misrepresents nature and is potentially harmful to the photo subjects, especially the frogs (by handling them).

A photo and 'likes' for it are not important compared to the welfare of the subjects portrayed.

Quote:Well spotted and captured. I bet you had to act fast to get the image, for fear of the frog jumping away?

Not well spotted or requiring any fast reactions I'm afraid, because this and all the other frog on fungi shots are fake with the frogs picked up and put on the caps for a 'cute' photo. I and many other nature photographers deplore this practice.

  • Jon, your portfolio speaks for itself and it is packed to the rafters with wildlife images of the highest order. Your butterfly shots are second to none and you are a both a nemesis and an inspiration to me and somewhere inbetween! Smile

I wish you a successful and butterfly rich 2010!

  • Impressive work, especially considering the amount of time you've been into this photography lark.

Keep it up and enjoy it!

Nothing wrong with the non smiling pic btw, looks good to me!
