Just one Cornetto

By Mavis
Marie said I couldn't possibly come to Venice and have at least one ride on a Gondola! So, we pooled our resources and went for a 20 minute 100 Euro glide ! Smile It was so quiet, magical and quite mystical. I particularly liked the shadows on the bridge arch reflected from the sparkling water .

I particularly like V1 with its patterns of reflected light under the bridge.

Super images, Mavis, glad you took your gondola ride, though I think the fare took you for a ride, too! Carol

Like the detail and tones in these - version 1 gets my vote for the reflections of the water.

Great set, certainly got some different angles on things from the gondola, even if it did cost a small fortune! Agree with above, you captured some nice refections on the underside of the bridge in V1.

It has to be V1 for me Mavis Smile Though i know you've put them on to show us this wonderful City. But V1 stands out as a really lovely image, and a very good idea to take the shot at that very moment.

A beautiful set of Venetian canal scenes, I like the way you've used the bridge as a frame in v1. Those gulls get everywhere don't they!

The price is rediculous, but probably includes the cost of music lessons so that he can sing to you!

I like how the light on the water is reflected under the bridge, you have caught the busy Venetian life going on in the distance. Through your photographs it is as if I am there again.
