Paper Clip

By maxmelvin19
I thought I'd try something different and do a fairly abstract close-up monochrome. Any tips or criticisms would be much appreciated.

Thanks for looking,
Max

I love the noise in this image, it gives it a real antique effect. Very interesting especially for such an ordinary object. Lovely.

Excellent stuff — good exposure, contrast and textures. My only tip would be to do more of this kind of stuff, since you obviously have a talent for it. Grin

Thanks for the comments, they're really appreciated.

Annie - it's good to get comments from other enthusiastic (relative) beginners, I think we both go for the similarly unusual type of image.

DRicherby - Thanks for the encouragement, at least two of your images are in my favourites (especially 'lost shoe')...

Love it - who would have thought that you could create such a brilliant pic with only a 'paper clip'? I have seen a similar idea using a fork!
