Felt well enough for a trip out in the car today, so we drove over to the Brecons in Wales for a few hours with the excuse of maybe taking a few landscapes with the cameras. Like most best made plans, that went completely out the window as soon as I spotted some of the mountain ponies and I just couldn't resist firing off a few images of these hardy little creatures. Everything was going really well until the local hunt turned up without so much as a care in the world to anybody else that was enjoying the fresh air and started galloping around the place with in hot pursuit of the hounds that were way ahead of them. I'm all for country pursuits, but how can the master of the hunt be in charge of his hounds when they're half a mile in front of him I've no idea???......What made it worse was the hounds just ran around the car park upsetting all the children and other visitors to the the area and the riders couldn't have give a s*** about anyone, not so much as a sorry or an apology to anybody, they just galloped through like they owned the hills, looking down their noses at anyone that dared to even show them any disdain. Certainly re-enforced my views about fox hunting, even if they didn't appear to be chasing a fox at the time, not that the master could have done anything if the dogs had gotten scent of a fox, the dogs were to far ahead for him to have done anything......Shameful behaviour!
Rant over & a chill pill taken, dunno why but this image just seemed to lend itself well to a mono conversion, well I like it anyway and that's what matters really, at least I got the frig out this weekend
