Lovely expression, beautiful baby. The eyes and mouth are gorgeous. I would be tempted to heal over the little scratch and smooth the forehead a bit, also perhaps to lighten the picture overall, though subtly, perhaps giving a bit more brightness to the left hand eye. It's a lovely picture, and a memory to be treasured, but a little smoothing would not destroy the truth of it.

Hi Megan,

Youve caught her in a serious moment here! That lens is really good for portraits as well as macros.

Its a nice tender shot, you might notice its a little dark/underexposed, and this is easily remedied by a simple curves or levels adjustment.

I would also remove the little cut near her eye, and crop it into an 8X10 format by taking some off the top, - which also aligns the eyes on a third.

Ive done this in a mod, and in addition Ive slightly softened the skin appearance, lightened and sharpened the eyes.

Hope this is useful,

Regards

Willie
