I'd've prefered a little more depth of field: enough to at least get the nearest parts of the front in focus and the polleny bit, too. The eye is naturally drawn along the curves to these areas so it's a little disquieting that they're out of focus.

Great image; can I also say my wife has just had a bunch of flowers given...sorry to say not by me ???and I have taken a photo not to unlike this....great minds think alike ???? So wonderful photo's in your gallery mate.
