Nice clean straight forward shot of Blackpool.
But - I find the tower not being verticle a little disconcerting. I know - if you straighten it the sea runs off. Maybe try camera at a different hieght next time or correct the perspective in one of the manipulation programs?

Some of us call it home Smile
You are right this is a really good shot. If you really wanted to straighten the Tower it takes 30 secs in PS I like the clear air and the fact that you can pick out the Cumbrian hills behind the north pier. This is something you don't often see. Tacky though they are (particularly the Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen ones) at this range the illuminations are quite attractive.

LOL I will never forget it - "Simon wave....."

Simon stands on beach, waving at nothing in particular while concerned parents drag their children away from the oddball with the tripod!

Simon, Happy belated Xmas, merry new year and all that.

This is lovely. You should live away from Blackpool for 25 years - I've found this has the effect of making it appear attractive and alluring again Wink

Hope to see you Jeanie Arnie and the rest in 08 for candyfloss and chips and a few pics
