Skye Croft 01

Some will hate it but given the lighting [strong light through the window and virtually pitch black inside] there were few ways of recording this image 'on the fly' [no flash] other than blending & tone mapping.

The boot was just there .......... maybe some other 'tog before me had put it in just the right spot

The initial, saturated version is image 2

The selective version, as suggested by Martin, is image 3

not really a lot of contrasting colour... which makes the picture a little too confusing...

try removing the colour from all but a couple of things... like the boot and the tree...

I confess this is a slightly desaturated version - the first draft was too punchy to post as believable............ maybe I'll put it up Smile

gotta tell ya, I dig all 3 of em. This has a great feel to it in my opinion, strongly shouts out abandoned!!
