ISO1600 before and after grain removal-100 percent crops

Here, as promised, are 2 crops (from center of frame) taken at ISO1600, so they will display here at Actual Size. The left one is straight from my F100fd camera; the right side is after running that image through Neat Image V8 using the Default settings.

I don't think any significant detail is lost through the removal process, although the original gives the illusion of more sharpness from the grain itself.
