The Parthenon - a different angle

By MentorRon
Took several photos of the structure, as most tourists do. In reviewing my shots, I noticed most showed the spaces between the columns while this one didn't. Seems to make the structure seem more solid. This was my 3rd time there, and probably my last. Auto ISO100 @ 78mm.

You can look at it 1,000 times for a 1,000 years and still miss it. Have I seen it a 1,000 times? You bet! Have I seen THIS before? NOOOOOOO!!!
And to pull this out is simply spectacular.

Now let me tell you about the Temple dedicated to Goddess Athena or better letting God Poseidon to tell you about it.
He is ready to take your questions. There, between the first column on the left and the second from the left. Seen him? No?Focus!

Keep just 3 columns, skip the ladder and zoon in to the folk with the white well trimmed beard and the grey moustache that looks like a gnome, full with nose and a fearless look. Yes, he is smaller than the ivory sculpture of Goddess Athena but remember, he lost the naming game.As for the Triaena, well, he gave it to me, to use it for hunting octopuses. Are you coming for some ouzo later?
