Cross at your own risk!

By AnnJ
Am still trying to get to grips with LE and Big Stopper so keep on rushing down to the beach to try and shoot moving water. Have found there is much to learn and it takes many hours of patience and getting wet!

Thank you for looking and please let me have criticisms and suggestions on how to improve!

Many thanks,

Have just uploaded another version, which gives more space around the bridge as it is less cropped.

I have just added V2 and wonder if people think this is better? It is less cropped and gives more space around the bridge ....thank you everyone who has voted/commented thus far!

Congratulations on your GEA from marktc the master of this genre!
So what can we add after that, other than say how beautiful your image is - the lovely colour in the sky
nicely balances your smooth milky sea.
This liitle bridge is always fascinating as a subject.

A great shot the lee 10 stopper is a wonderful filter, I however like to use it with broken up cloud otherwise the clouds tend to merge too much on a long exposure, only my opinion and you did ask Wink.
Love the composition on both, and as far as I can see the only composition for this shot that works so well IMHO.
The water looks good too, and if you use rough sea it can create a really misty look around the Bridge.
Love to know where this is, it's a very interesting area and unusual to see a bridge in the Sea.

Over all the image is really eye catching and it caught my eye.

Ann, very well done with the GE. Mark is so spot on with your award a great pov. I like the crop brings more focus on the main subject. Remember the flask for a cup of tea while your Super processing and work over the last few images....I would like you to have a UA for the hard work you have put in. Well done need to get back out myself....

two lovely shots v1 for me. christineGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Very well done Ann. The composition is excellent. I prefer the greater space of V2. Both would work well in mono I am sure.
