Nice shot Derek,I've been there a few times and its difficult to compose a good shot as the tide moves ridiculously quickly

The weed-covered rocks make a strong pattern and the symmetrical foreground is an excellent find, Derek.

Nice shot Derek, been there myself last Thursday, but it was a terrible night so got nothing at that location.
I see you got the tide just at the right time.
Great composition on those rocks, not an easy one as there are so many to choose from.

Love the shape and colour of the rocks while their arrangement makes a nice pattern. The colour of the seaweed works well with the darker sky. I just wonder if it needs a distant focal point to help direct the eye? The FG sharp rocks do work to keep the eye returning but I find myself getting lost in the more distant parts where the image is soft and nothing stands out. Maybe a ship on the sea or a low down sunburst since there is no handy lighthouse! Definitely worth revisiting from the looks of it.

A slippery trail to get to this composition Derek, you've managed a fine composition from a fairly dark day.
