Meet The Rug

By jeanie
I went out to the Lake District this morning in the hope of catching some light... well there was not a lot to be found so I concentrated on my four legged ray of sunshine instead..
.. Meet The Rug......aka Jura, who is usually out there with me when taking photos. I don't have a lot of choice really - he has had 11 and a half years practice in barricading the front door when I get the camerabag and tripod out! Smile

Oh - and that it Kelly Hall Tarn and Coniston Old Man with a slight dusting of snow beyond. There was a bit more when I arrived but each squall seemed to wash a bit more off!

Love the four legged ray of sunshine. He adds such warmth and character to this lovely scene.

My four legged rays of sunshine cannot be taken on photography jaunts unless Garrath agrees to take complete charge of them. If not all my photos include canine noses!

Great to see him in the shot.
Hope he has a thick rug if you have just trimmed him in this cold weather; you must be a hardy lot up there!

LOL Lynne - it's taken a few years and his slowing down to make the perfect companion.. just a shame he is in the autumn years now... Smile

Ju never fear - he is usually kept short. He had to be cut as he could not really cope with having a thicker coat as he is not used to it. Plus its so wet all the time he was constantly soggy! Smile
a great shot and the dog enjoying the view.
