Submarine Wreck Aberlady Bay

By AnnJ
Thank you to everybody for their comments and help with my recent macro shots. You have helped me SO much and I do so appreciate the time given to make modifications, constructive criticisms etc.

On looking back at some images I took a couple of months ago I came across this one taken at Aberlady Bay, East Lothian ,Scotland. I couldn't help but think how brave the occupants must have been as these were "mini" submarines and very small inside.

What is slightly concerning me is that the image I see on my monitor before uploading to EPZ, varies a lot from the one I see after uploading in terms of colour and I am wondering why?

Have just uploaded another version where I upped the saturation as the image looked so insipid on my EPZ screen. Don't really understand why I have this problem.

Thank you for looking. Ann.

Check with banehawi re changing the Colour profile for web uploads (under edit in Photoshop).
I can't remember for sure so won't mislead you.
A wonderful old wreck here which must look so different under different light.

A lovely old wreck, Ann, and fascinating to know it was a mini submarine. Looks a bit like a beached whaleTongue!

Try assigning the sRGB colour space profile to your images.
Itís the Web standard colour space. All Web Browsers are not created equal, so some people will not see the colours in your image that you do.
When you upload an image to EPZ, or any place on the Web, make sure that sRGB is the colour profile used. Photoshop or the others can easily be used to make sure thatís the case. For Photoshop, itís edit, convert to profile (or assign profile if there is none) and select sRGB. It will be at the top of the choices.

Thank you so much to Pamela Jean and Willie (Banehawi) for sorting out my sRGB colour space. Am SO grateful! I have now uploaded V3 which shows a more realistic and true colour. Ann.
