Tuscany Sunflowers

By Merbert
It was a windy day, so I had to have a high ISO to get the picture I wanted.

Thats a lovely recession depth of field from sharpish to bokeh.

Its rather "flat" tonally , a moderate S curve would have punched it and the immediate f.g green sunflowers lock the attention to much.

Maybe try some selective softening to help the viewer walk through the image.

Its a pity the front in focus flowers are so low in the frame.

I agree with Dave above and have loaded a mod with curves, the front greens blurred, and a crop to raise the front row, and a little off the left to balance.

Hope this is useful,

Thanks Willie,
This might be a silly question, but where can I find the Mod?

Thank you W

That really makes a difference, I think I have to play a bit more in Photoshop.

Some good advise from Dave and Willie there! Essentially a very nice shot!
