Award Shortlist

By Merbert
I bought the Cognisys Stopshot setup to get into water drop collisions.
You have to take a lot of shots to get some keepers. It really is testing your patience.
I entered this photo into a competition with the theme "yellow"
It made the shortlist but didn't win.
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for looking

I really like that, an area of photography I haven't had a go at.....yet.

Love the muted colours in the rest of the image, it really makes that yellow/green stand out. And you've captured it really well (I think, in 'water droplet speak', that's what they call a 'crown'?).

There's a lot of redundant space on either side of the main action, so have you thought about going with a square crop for this image instead of the landscape format it's currently in?

Thanks everyone.
You are right! That's what they call a crown and the space was intended, I think it adds to the clean appearance of the image.
Thank you for your suggestion anyway, it is appreciated.
