Hi Everyone, Thank you for your support, votes and esteemed awards for my last upload
Bright Side of the Road .
Today's upload continues on the Folkstone Sculpture Trail...featured here a sculpture entitled Rug People, which is situated in the old railway terminus at Folkstone Harbour. It is inspired by the station in which it rests, which was the final stop in Britain for the soldiers destined for the battlefields of Europe in the first world war. This history and artists (Paloma Varga Weisz) own family experience of fleeing persecution as refuges provides inspiration for these mysterious, weary and downcast travellers.
Thanks for looking, your support is much appreciated.
