Inspired by the many photos of airborne running dogs on this site I decided to give it a go myself with our dog, Spirit. Where better to get a running dog shot than the famous Pendine Sands in South Wales, where the Land Speed Record was broken back in the 1920's.

We didn't get up to the break neck speeds of those days (143mph doesn't seem fast by today's standards, does it?) but I'm quite happy with this shot, and several other "not so airborne" shots.

Thanks for looking, comments welcome as always.

Yup a great shot, might look better with a tighter crop . . . . just a thought!
