Heights Lights

By Metalhead
Looking out my window at home I can see a collection of radio masts on a distant hill. I finally decided to have a drive up and see what they were about and it turns out to be a fantastic place to watch the setting sun over the Amber Valley.

The place is called Alport Heights in Derbyshire, located between Ambergate and Wirksworth. Well worth a visit if you're out that way. Then once the sun has set, have a drive up to the Star Disc in Wirksworth - an illuminated granite disc depicting the night sky constellations.

Thanks for looking.
