Um, yeah ... get a flat mate who knows how to clean properly. Oh, and stop inviting young ladies round ... they'll always, invariably, leave lippy on the glasses Grin (That does, of course, assume that 'Mich' is short for Michael? And not Michelle? Could make an ass of myself here otherwise, and may have to revise that last bit and tell you to stop inviting lads round that wear lipstick ... that's just too weird ...)

On a more serious note though, as an abstract image it has distinct possibilities. Given that it was taken on a camera phone, the quality isn't top notch, but you might want to explore what camera settings the phone offers ... like focus mode (i.e. macro?) and other things like that (if you haven't done already, of course).

The background is a little distracting, so going in even closer would have sorted that a bit more ... It's always a juggling act with camera phones - they don't offer the kind of control that an SLR and a range of lenses does, but then again being able to get some very spontaneous images like this is always a bonus!

The overhead lights (or whatever lighting is in the room - looks like quote a dull day) has given you a couple of bright highlights on the glass. Not a bad thing, necessarily, but next time think about placing the glass somewhere else and really look before pressing the button. It's amazing what we see afterwards that would have been so easy to avoid beforehand with a bit of eagle-eyed vision Smile

One another thing - that coffee mug behind the glass doesn't do the overall image any favours. It just provides a big white blob that doesn't contribute anything to the image.

10 out of 10 though for seeing potential in the mundane!
