v1 is a great out-stretched wing pose, but I like the humour of v4 best. Great set, Michaela.

I think V1 outstretched wings but the cobalt blue boat and blue sea works well

V3. Must be bird on steroids to be able to push that boat. Fair bit of wash behind the boat.
And why doe th rh bird in v3 and 4 have such a long tail that disappears into the water? How does he tuck that up when flying?

Excellent series of images, lovely light and great colours, for me V1 just edges it for me but all are beautifully captured.

A fine set of these birds - are they cormorants? I particularly like v1 - it's like the bird is saying 'go ahead, take your best shot!'
