With Thanks to Annie for all that posing with and without hats.
I certainly got my Fivers worth
Not forgetting scaramanga for teaching me how to get the eyes bright.
I do have a second Special Valentine....Ruby....Annies twin sister. Thank you too to Ruby for helping with my B&B today. She does not like to pose for me but I caught her recently...See No 2.
Lovely portrait again, How do you get the eyes bright?
love V2 ... big smile here
and how do you get bright eyes? I need some myself
Both are delightful Mavis - so come on, spill the beans- how do you get those eyes so clear and bright
An excellent portrait.
Both are excellent work!
Great large frame filling portrait. Eye tutorials are available online.
Love them both. V1 so perfect for Valentines. V2 is delightful. I'm going to send out my wishlist to my kids, a set of twins please............Sandy
certainly fills the frame with good eyes too.
Like the mary popins figure in V2
Which one do you want me to vote for. I'm certainly not voting for both of them. Make your mind up woman but thanks for the valentine. Super work Mavis.
Like how you have composed v1 and love the processing in v2
Don't think you will be surprised to hear Mavis,I do not go a bundle for Valentines Day.Just an excuse for the shopkeepers to put the prices up on their flowers and chocolates, and for Marks and Spencers to put some food in a little box that is not enough to feed a sparrow, and charge 20 quid and call it a romantic meal for two.You get a bottle of wine for it too,but I think my bottle of McPhersons vinegar in my cupboard will taste better than that.I suppose the restuarants tonight will be busy with all the romantic couples canoodilng over their canapes.I just hope that their hubbies and wifeys do not catch them at it.
I suppose some restuarants will employ a Gypsy violinist to set the romantic mood with some little wistful melodies. It did not half put me in a mood the one that came over to our table when we were having our fish and chips on holiday in Tenerife.I don't think it is a lot to ask to have your breakfast there in peace.I suppose a lot of poor little girls will be reduced to tears today, when the expected Valentines card from the hunk of the class never appeared on their doormat. And how many hearts will be broken when the card they got from the hunk of the class was really a card sent by their friends as a joke.
Valentines Day ?
Just a pure joke if you ask me !!
Ah Mick and I always thought you were quite a romantic
Two lovely images - and beautiful eyes! Got a hand it to Ruby - how did she do that!!!
Great shot for Valentine's Day - really like the detail/catchlights and sharpness of the eyes especially in this sweet image.
