Great shot - Wouldn't fancy running in those conditions, hard enough walking and staying up-right !

Happy new year and welcome back. Not before time either. A nice wintry scene with the added mystery of where have all the bikers gone.
Incidentally there is an article in today's Journal of the gentleman I was telling you about.

Never mind where all the cyclists have gone,I have been asking the question ever since Xmas as to where Mavis has gone. Santa must have been VERY good to you if it has taken you all this time to unravel all his goodies.I hope you have been keeping in the best of health. My wife had that dreaded flu bug,and she was pure murder to put up with for over a week.I certainly do not want to go through all that carry on again.I told her next time she catches it,to make sure she gets the best of treatment, I will put her in one of these BUPA hospitals.I am a bit upset to see you were in Edinburgh. Why did you not come up and visit me for a coffee and some little nibbles ? I am surprised the race went ahead in these conditions.Certainly must have been slippy underfoot for Nick and the rest of the runners.Did you see any snowboarders ? That road is a popular spot for them on the way down.Could be their bikes and perhaps their remains are now underneath the chassis of an Edinburgh Parks and Highways vehicle !!
Nice to see you back, and a Happy New Year to you and Alan.

Where have all the cyclists gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the cyclists gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the cyclists gone?
Girls have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?

I really love this image - the comp is wonderful - but what it tells is fascinating - they say a picture speaks a thousand words and this one certainly does. I am shortlisting it - I just love the unusuality of it.
