Wow, this is an excellent shot. It has a dreamy feel to itů..I love it. What make this picture so strong is the clarity, waves and the colours of the ferry.

This will have to go down as one of my favourites!!

It's a most attractive image. The ferry is perfectly placed and looks grand set against that backdrop of the vertically smeared city skyline.

Very well worked IMO.

I don't really have a favourite image Mavis as mine are pretty grotty and look much the same.It would help if I was not so lazy and get myself a bit furthur afield than Leith.Hong Kong has a Victoria Dock, but so has Leith,so why bother going all the way there.Chances are, if I went I would come back with just another pile of rust pics.I bet that Danny and Cormy would call me a chancer and accuse me of not being there at all.At least your pic here looks very Hong Kongish.I bet if I took it,that pair would say it must be the Rosyth ferry pulling into Leith Docks.I blame myself off course.I have pigeon holed myself with rust, rust, and more rust.Perhaps I should take pics of pigeons instead, but who in their right mind would take pics of these sodden things ? I have taken a few pics of boats, but there is always a smart alec who uploads a better pic than mines when I do.I have thought about photographing wild animals, but I see enough of them in the pubs in Leith, thank you very much !! Table top photography could be another option, but I am off the opinion, a table top is for putting your fish supper and a glasss of Guinness on.Glamour photography has crossed my mind too,but I hear you have to keep talking to your subject. And you will know that I am a man of a very few words,so no good there. So it looks like it will be just rust, rust and more rust for me.And I will keep my favourite images from all the other uploads I see on the site !!

I dreamed I went to Hong Kong harbour. Love the blurred and misty buildings, and the colourful little ferry bobbing across the water. I went on it and this really takes me back to the time............Sandy

Tell that Haggis beater to just stick to his rust and leave the proper photographs to us pros.

Yes a cracker Mavis and also one of my favourite locations. An absolute dream and your pic is a winner due to the position of the Star Ferry...Absolute perfection.
