Colours Three

By midgemckay
A really simple image, spotted outside a lecture room that was being emptied of random stuff. You get funny looks when you're kneeling down taking photos of things! I liked the basic colours of it, and the big numbers. Hopefully it will remind me to take some shots with colour in them rather than my fascination with shots of the sky.

This shot will be the first of a short series about the colours in this photo. Mainly the photos will be large expanses of colour, large in real life mainly, as opposed to cropping images to fill the frame. Hopefully, that it - I *do* live in Glasgow so generally things are pretty, well, uncolourful. A mention goes to John (Sludden) for the awesome series he produces that could inspire so many folk.

The series runs for eight photos.

/is it just me, or can you never decide if a photo looks better with a border or without? Tongue

I know these catalogues well. I worked for RS for over 25 years.

Really? What are the odds of that, eh? Tongue

They were from a room in our Civil Engineering building that is used by the Physics lecturers, never got a chance to even read what the books were about!

I have a lot of respect for people who use colour for colour's sake, brightness petrifies me!
