Up the Steps Down

By midgemckay
A slightly less bright addition to a so far colourful series... I seem to be very pleased with how this turned up.

I took 3 photos of the yellow steps at the railway station near my house, cropped the images a bit, then altered the shadows (bluer), midtones (redder) and highlights (yellower) to end up with quick deep, rich colours.

The increasing angle relects that these are steps, it's a well known fact that stairs get steeper the more you have to climb up them Tongue

I hope others find the image as interesting as I found it to create. I've been having fun recently putting colours first in my photos.

I'll have to try an experiment like this, it's a great combo of patterns and an effective way of proving that you can find the bold in the banal
