I spotted this in Lower Largo Ania.

Lovely arrangement of that wisteria around the window, offset by the yellow flowers at the base of that lovely blue window and of course completed by the inclusion of the bicycle but yes it is the lovely detailed ring of rust and offset composition that makes it your own Mick! See there is grot amongst the flowersWinkWinkWinkWink

This is very pretty, Mick, a nice find that gives me plenty of food for thought:

(a) If you had seen this in England - well, parts of England - you would think that the District Nurse Lives Here.

(b) In fact it has a French atmosphere, suggested by the exaggerated shapeliness of the numbers.

(c) I can think of parts of Paris where you might see house numbers presented like this, but you wouldn't find Big Aggie there.

(d) In France the plate would be MUCH RUSTIER!

20 pence to park yer bike outside that window would appear to be reasonable, Mick. One presumes the occupant found within said window provides human alarm facilities by leaning out of said window and hitting any errant bicycle thief on the head with a solid rolling pin.

Vingtage 'rouille'. (I think that's the French for rust).
