Back to the old mine with what looks like part of a trolley they used to go along the rails.
And it looks like this thing here went off the rails long before I did !!
Oh well found, Mick! Like how you've done this - ALMOST symmetrical too! Bet you got a few shots here with the 'wheels' etc ?? ;) That IS rust - and the pebbles so clean and pristine - a real contrast!:D:D

Are you sure this went off the rails first?
My husband likes Jam Swiss Roll too and complains that they're not what they used to be!
I have made some in my time but photography took over!

pristine rust here although it looks a bit derailed :)
BTW..I told Mr Nadaud where his dad's key comes from, he split sides and said he'll tell his dad in the care home later on what he found in the garden, that will sure cheer the old chap up.

Love the near symmetry here and the lovely textures, but how disappointing for you to have found something that beat you in the going off the rails race.

A great rusting relic, one which certainly lends its self to a great abstract.
"I am certainly warming to rust, maybe its that old soft spot inside?"

The day might come when you will appreciate the aid of a trolley, Mick. And after all that jam roly poly, it might come sooner not later ;)
An interesting find, even more interesting than a seaside trolley. Otherwise I'd have accused a seagull of nicking the chip out of the pulley wheel :)

Bill

Well, that's at least two of us off our trolleys! ;) Great specimen, Mick :) Funny, I don't remember seeing any rust in Rome, it was nearly all old bits of stonework...;)

Off your trolley, off the rails, off your rocket, but not off the jam roly-poly:P Did you try biting this in some demented state, believing it to be a slice of jam-filled delight?
