The mind boggles about what the block and chain are doing there. An intriguing juxtaposition well captured.

How sad! You're going all soft, Mick.
I could not name your rusty contribution but I recognise begonias, petunias and the leaf of a geranium.
But it is interesting how these disparate elements can sit in comfy close relationship, neither one overwhelming the other.
Ronnie.
(PS........I went soft years ago but you knew that......must be something to do with the water......R)
Great combination Mick.

I'm impressed! Would never have guessed this was one of yours. The post top and chain sit so neatly within the frame, and I love the way the chain sinks into the bed of flowers. Arty-farty composition, Mick, but I love it.

Well well well! Flowers from the rust meister but never fear, there's a wee bit of water damage on the petunias.

Do I not recognise this scene?
Is that not the ball and chain that Jan uses to make sure you stay in the garden and do the weeding now and again?
I thought so.
At least she has allowed you the indulgence of a rusty ball.

Love the composition, Mick!

MikBee goes floral, you had me fooled there Mick. On closer inspection I see that a good few of these flowers could do with being deadheadedWinkGrin. So you still managed to slide in a bit of grot besides the rusty ball.
