75th Anniverdary of D Day.

Thanks to everyone for your C&Vs yesterday.
I mention a while ago that there was to be a fly-past of 35 Dakota DC3s, well it happened over Eastbourne yesterday. Two hours late and a very overcast dull 5pm on top of Beachy Head, Sussex UK, it was getting very cold with little light to bounce off their undercarriage, but they came and went on their way to France. Not all made it as I believe some failed to take off, but there must have been about 32 aircraft, mainly Dakotas from across the world taking part in this probably last ever event.

Great set to mark the anniversary of D-Day. I find V2 is my favourite. You did not get the best of conditions to take photographs but they have come out O'K
